To all the fabulous volunteers of the 9.11.11 first Zeitgeist Media Festival in LA, we say THANK YOU!!
In short, this festival would simply not have been possible without the help of each and every one of you. Your contribution was essential to the smooth operation of this huge, multimedia festival. With the million moving parts of this ambitious production, we had a million willing hands that eagerly helped. That's YOU so please know how much you are appreciated and valued. Your selfless, tireless work is well-noticed and the positive attitude and energy you all give to the task at hand is admirable and infectious. Many of the performers commented on how professional and efficient our volunteer staff was. It is quite inspiring to witness the willingness to help in any way possible, no matter what it takes, to get the job done. This captures the spirit of the festival and demonstrates the unity we share as a team. People comment all the time about the strength, power and organizational ability of the movement and this is proof of it, yet again. Together what we can accomplish is truly breath-taking.
There are literally hundreds of 'stories behind the story' of the festival and they are starting to surface. We will continue to share some of the heart-warming acts of generosity and compassion and the 'pay it forward' actions that occurred.
I hope you had a chance to enjoy the festival as well :) There will be HD pro video footage released once it's edited and ready for post. At peak, the stickam live stream reached 200,000 views! Imagine when it goes viral with the high quality version which will include the main stage, rooftop, roaming characters and other areas of venue. We raised about 1,000 pds of food with the food drive- that translates to 4,000 meals we provided. Once the global food drive stat's are included, it could be into the 10's of thousands of meals we helped provide to the needy.

"Big thanks to the massive team of incredible volunteers who worked tirelessly at festival! Too many to name but giving prop's to the whole... truly the 'best that money can't buy!' How inspiring to witness the difference when people give from their heart w/o regard to $ even though we all still live in the monetary system. Big beautiful love to all the Z volunteers here & around the world- this is what it's about & we're doing this together!! I have nothing but love & respect for y'all!"
