WorldFest 2011 was a huge success. WorldFest is an annual solar powered event featuring the leading edge in sustainability conscious vendors, exhibitors, vegan food stands and speakers. We made some contacts, had a lot of quality discussions, gave out over 200 Dvds of "Zeitgeist: Moving Forward", and handed out TZM info cards and missions statements. A total of 63 people registered their email for the chapter.
The event was from 10 am - 7 pm and was packed the entire day. Those of us at our TZM booth we're having multiple discussions simultaneously throughout the day. This being a green type of event, the crowd was very receptive to the sheer obviousness and logic that we as a movement point out. We had a very positive impact on this event bringing a unique and refreshing angle to the green/sustainability arena. TZMLACA will definitely be going back next year to table and present TZM to the public.
During this event we got invited to table at the "Living Food Expo" Sunday June 5th, 6pm - 10pm. So look out for that and more upcoming events, activism, and meetings posted the Calendar.
